AMPR-Mada

Our partner the Association of Medicine physique et Re-adaptation de Madagascar

The Association was founded in 2013 largely on the initiative of its founding president, Dr Sonia Randrianaisona and its founding members many of whom had just gained their Diplome Universitaire in Rehabilitation Medicine co-organised with Leeds. They went onto mount international congresses to which we contributed in 2014, 2016 and 2018. Regional and national rehabilitation services have improved steadily since the founding of the Association in spite of the very difficult socio-economic situation of the country. Some of these improvements are shown on their website. Most countries in Sub-Saharan Africa lack such a national medical specialty society.

Anne is proud to be Présidente d’honneur of the Association

HIFA

We support HIFA (Healthcare Information For All). We believe that every person and every health worker should have access to the healthcare information they need to protect their own health and the health of those
for whom they are responsible.
